The great thing is that the atheists, sexual deviants and materialists are commiting genetic suicide. The breeders will inherit the earth. One of my daughters is in labour right now with my 12th grandchild.
These screeching women (aren't they all women?)will someday find themselves totally alone, with no one to visit them, or even remember them when they are gone. I cannot imagine a worse life.
I grew up as the only kid, and was also an adopted one. I did not feel lonely because I had nothing to compare to. I was sitting in my room painting and writing about big families on my red Olivetti Valentine typewriter. At the age of 33 I had given birth to six children. I had tried (once) to commit an abortion (because of chaotic circumstances) but I just could not do it, I ran from the clinic and this beautiful woman, now 40 years old, gave me a grandchild 2013 who with his existence just is healing our whole family. God works in his own ways. Love before fear is the shit...❤️
I don't understand why atheists don't want big families either. I agree with you that finding a way to stay here through our children is a no brainer if you don't believe in afterlife. I am telling you this as an atheist/agnostic who has three kids and hopes for many more. Everything you described in your essay applies to me, even if I lack a faith in God.
I am building a family and a home too. I hope to build something that outlives me for generations. I live for others, not because I expect something in afterlife but because when you give you get way more than what you'd get obsessively focusing on yourself and yourself only. My reward may be on this planet but this doesn't mean I'm masturbating to death like many do.
I really don't understand why most atheists end up nihilistic when this life, this planet, this being human is so valuable and beautiful and, yes, somehow sacred in and of itself to me.
I told my nigriean Priest, who is the youngest of 8 children, that here in Germany you’re considered to be scum if you have more than 2 or 3 children. He wouldn’t believe me until my friend with 5 siblings told him that she got labeled as scum by classmates.
My Priest from Rwanda, who is the youngest of 4 or 5, keeps saying that german families are to small.
And as an adult, I’ve found myself wishing I had more than just one little brother.
This is spot on. Family is a Godly construct which reflects the heart of a Father so deeply committed to relationship and connection with the precious children He had in mind since before the beginning of time. ‘Tis no wonder then that it has become a target for perversion and destruction.

I don’t think it’s fair to attribute such gross motives to those who are choosing childlessness.
I have 8 children. Of 5 daughters, the 2 youngest seem to be leaning toward remaining childless.
My 31yo atheist and hyper leftwing daughter said 3 things must be in place before she’ll consider it: very solid marriage ( she’s on her second one and it’s had some issues); financial security; and sound mental health (also some pretty serious issues with a hospitalization for suicidal ideation).
My 29 yo atheist leftwing daughter and her husband spend lots of hands on time helping 2 of her local sisters with their 3 nephews (age 5 yo high functioning autistic and 4 mo old twins). She and her husband observe the various challenges which are many and do enjoy their lifestyle of freedom to travel and advance in their careers- they’re off to vacation in Europe for a few weeks soon.
My atheist 33 yo daughter who just had the twins after 4 years of infertility treatments and 3 pregnancy losses wants to have more children because she “enjoys type 2 fun and children are type 2 fun”
My oldest 2 are still Christians. Christian Son has 5 kids age 3-12 but went through a horrendous divorce from his Christian wife who- turns out- chronically abused him and then tried to kill him. She was arrested and he has a restraining order and had full custody of the 5 children for awhile (now 50/50)
Oldest Christian daughter has 3- two natural and one foster care to adopted.
I’m helping my middle daughter with the twins ATM and when I commented that religious people have bigger families, she said, “yes, that concerns me, but then I remember that we were one of those religious families and as adults, we’re not”
Thank you again for pointing out our unconscious, life-denying habits, Elisabeth.
I view sex as an intimate connection with the Divine. Our trust and love for the Divine are like an energy current that runs through our bodies (including our sexual organs), hearts, and minds. Through that holy connection, we are given the power to create new life.
Even though our collective consciousness has largely lost awareness of its holy connection, bringing a child into the world will always be a sacred act.
However unconscious we may seem, our covenant with God (substitute whatever sacred name resonates with you) is eternal and cannot be broken.

Amen to that!
I love “the breeders will inherit the earth”
Congratulations!

I even see a bit of this in churches. Having 1 or 2 kids is ok but having 3 or more gets criticism.

4-5 kids was pretty normal in the fifties. 7 or more was large.
? So what?
Times have changed. We are the worse for it. The world will belong to the breeders - dare one say the obvious?
The vigorous breeders overwhelm the decrepit sterile empires.
Yes but why are you replying to my comment? I am a breeder too lol

Thank you so much for taking the time out of your day to read this!!

“children are the daily death of autonomy in the service of love” so good!
Financial conditions might play a role
