What a porn-brained culture calls people who still believe children are good.

There is this band I love. If you do not know I grew up in Europe, more specifically I grew up in Portugal. My Dad was obsessed with this band called Silence 4, they had big hits in portugal when I was around seven or eight. I remember it playing in the car nonstop, and as I grew older I never really stopped listening to them, they have many great songs, majority in english, and amongst them is one titled “Breeders”, one part goes like this

Cause' I'm only here for reproduction
So that my coded information is passed on and on and on
And I can have a glimpse at immortality

If you do not know either, I grew up an atheist, much like my father, he influenced my taste in music, from Pink Floyd, to Journey, to Silence 4, and somehow a mixture of Mr. Slim Shady in the mix, all the way to my religious beliefs. Like him I was an atheist, one who firmly believed that we were just products of time, chance, and luck. We had evolve to become who we were, and we were here thanks to the many before us. So when I heard this silly little part in the song, I could not help but agree, in essence, if God does not exist, if all we have is the theory of evolution, than besides needing to eat and drink water, our entire purpose, is in essence and very basically to just breed.

We were born to breed.

and yet, something interesting has now happened, the same people who hold this view, even if they happen to deny it and not think about it, now shamelessly call us breeders. If biology is king and ruler, then reproduce we must. If we are only products of chance, luck, and evolution, then having children is not some strange obsession, it is the most basic thing we are here to do, and yet the same people who believe we are nothing more than bodies, impulses, instincts, and coded information moving through time now look at those of us who marry, have children and encourage others to do the same as…

breeders.

but how is this even a problem or an insult under their worldview?

You know that leftists and liberals love, adore, live for supporting people and their sexual degeneracy, any and all sexual preferences are accepted and encouraged… that is, until you come up on the topic of having multiple children.

I have met many, many families, matter of fact most of the families we know are large families, all of whom have three or more children, in our circles having three is small number, and I have yet to find a single occasion of this now very normalized accusation against normal people — that we all now somehow have a breeding kink.

I have spent many years online discussing these topics, motherhood, families, children, and any and every time I write anything that even remotely hints at encouraging people to have children, they all come for me, pitchforks in the air, shaming me, calling me a freak with a breeding kink.

These are just a few examples, but this sentiment is quite prevalent and if you have a large family, or encourage others to have children, sooner or later you will be met with this accusation.

Years ago big families were normal, nobody thought having more than one, or two kids was weird in any way, and I believe this shift has happened because of two things.

1. We suffer from the awful degenerate condition that is porn brain

2. We also suffer from the awful belief that autonomy is the god we must serve

So let me explain exactly what I mean by all of this:

We all have seen, heard, and know that there is tremendous push to normalize every sexual desire, all of it is dressed in the belief that “people just need to be who they are”, that is until sexuality is ordered towards what it was actually designed to be. What you must understand is that these people are not actually against people making choices with their bodies, they are against people making choices that produce duty, because that would go against point number two, which is serving autonomy and self above all else. They are not scandalized by sex being openly discussed they are scandalized by sex being connected to what it always has traditionally been connected to. It is amazing that nowadays the shock factor isn’t more degeneracy, we are all so desensitized to it, I remember when Eminem used to get in serious trouble for the things he said and did. People acted like civilization itself was hanging by the thread of a Slim Shady lyric, now we see worse things on regular cable on a Tuesday afternoon. That is how desensitized we are. We are so porn-brained that traditionalism looks like the real obscenity. Show people a mother, a father, and a bunch of children, and suddenly they all start screeching like vampires caught in direct sunlight.

This “breeding kink'“ accusation reveals so much, it takes something that is normal, good, foundational, and forces it into pornographic language. This is the state of the modern mind, we cannot understand anything as sacred without dragging it into the sewer. The body is no longer seen as a gift given by God, it is seen primarily through the lens of desire, pleasure, self-expression, and therefore anything we do with our bodies must have a sexual connotation of some sort, this is the logical conclusion.

Children are the opposite of sexual libertinism, they are not self-expression, they are self-denial, they are not the endless pursuit of self and of personal autonomy, they are the daily death of autonomy in the service of love.

The very same people who demand endless compassion and understanding for every ridiculous, deranged, degenerate sexual preference, suddenly become total puritans the second anyone says babies are good, and this right here is what gives them all away, they are not offended by sex, they are offended by sex having meaning.

A baby is the most obvious reminder that we were never made to belong only to ourselves, what they actually think is that children do not have value, sacrifice disgusts them, duty makes their skin crawl, a life with meaning outside of self isn’t even possible, so they have to sexualize it in order to demean it.

If we are indeed just animals then acting scandalized when people do the most basic animal thing is illogical, and if we are indeed more than animals then maybe we should stop reducing mothers, fathers, babies, marriage and families into porn-brained internet insults.

They do not hate the word breeder because it is inaccurate, under their worldview it should be the least offensive word in the world, they hate it because when christians have children we are not merely reproducing, we are instead building something, a home, a family, a movement, a future, that is what offends them, because when they breed, building something like this is not possible under atheism, under evolutionary principles, under these things breeding is nothing more than just breeding, all of it so that they might have a small glimpse at immortality.

And honestly, if seven-year-old me in the backseat of a car in Portugal could understand this, I really do not know what excuse the internet has.
